Singapore Changi International Airport had been crowned the World Best Airport. This airport had bagged this award for the fourth year in a row. This is based on Skytrax survey of about 13.25 million travelers across 106 nationalities and 550 airports worldwide. Travelers would rank their experience on everything including check-in, security, immigration, etc. South Korea’s Incheon International Airport took the second spot while Germany’s Munich Airport took third spot. Other Asian airports that made it to top 10 are:
- Tokyo International Airport Haneda (4th)
- Hong Kong International Airport (5th)
- Chubu Centrair International Airport in Nagoya, Japan (6th)
- Kansai International Airport in Osaka, Japan (9th)
World Best Airport also World 6th Business Airport
At the World Best Airport, Changi is currently the world 6th busiest airport. It serves 55.4 billion passengers (2015) worldwide. The airport handles approximately 6,800 flights every week or one in every 90 seconds. It has more than 100 airlines providing connection to 320 cities worldwide. It is also the home to Singapore national carrier, Singapore Airlines, one of the World Best Airlines. Travelers can enjoy high process efficiencies at check-ins, immigration clearance, baggage collection, etc.

Changi Airport also clinched the World Best Airport for Leisure Amenities and Facilities title.
